Frank: "Hey Gordon, we are so popular, look at all these potential suitors knocking down our door."

Gordon: "Money is no object, Frank. Debt is cheap and they want access to our valuable and under-serviced wireless customers (to sell them iPhones?)."

Frank: "This is really great, Gordon. I wonder if they will give us a raise."

Gordon: "Yup, it's a wonderful life. The powers that be just have to choose between all the offers. Either cash in hand from one of the private equity groups or joining TELUS for a bit more money, but all of the regulatory headaches."

Frank: "Wow, I can't wait. Either way, up we go. With TELUS, we could be a North American champion and maybe even sell phones in the U.S. Imagine all the beavers that will come running then, Gordon."

Gordon: "So many bidders to choose from all with pros and cons. Who could screw that up?"

Frank: "Hey Gordon, do you remember when the banks tried to merge?"
